Tyler, Tx

My Mom has a friend with a lovely condo at the Cascades Golf Course in Tyler, Tx - so the Dorman family packed up and went out for the weekend! We enjoyed some good food courtesy of my Dad, spent some time at the pool, and Emmet got a lot of attention from his grandparents, aunt and great grandma!

Emmet and Memaw!

View for our sunset golf cart ride! (We got lost and Allison's golf cart started to die, so I had to push them up the hills - it was a fun adventure :)

Starting to look like Froggy

Sweet boy!

Taking a nap with Aunt Allison again - but this time she fell asleep too!

Faith

Our good family friends, Dr. Hud and Nancy McWilliams were in town this week. He is a psychologist, counselor, pastor and currently works with families who are planting churches in Europe.

Hud and Nancy are very special to the Dorman family :)

We enjoyed having Dr. Hud pray over Emmet, and he gave some words of advice to Chad and me on Christian parenting. It was extra special because he is the one who baptized me when I was 7!

Pops and Dr. Hud praying for E.

Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. - Deuteronomy 6:6-9.

Raising a Godly man is going to be an enormous task. We will take all of the prayers and words of wisdom that are sent our way!

Videos of the E-man!

Recent videos that I have been meaning to show! He is getting so big, alert, active and social!! I just L-O-V-E this boy to pieces!

*Now, I know probably not everyone will be as entertained by these videos as Chad and I are - but I know his grandparents will, so I had to share em!"

He entertained himself this way for probably 30-45 minutes!
