This is what was on my mind as I went to Emmet's room to see why everything was so quiet.
This is what I found instead:
My sweet boy was sitting quietly and reading a book.
I love him so much and am so proud I could cry. I know this isn't a big deal, but he just has the sweetest little heart. I hope Chad, God and I can protect that heart and keep it sweet forever.
it is said to us many times in scripture, even by Jesus himself to guard our hearts...it is yours and Chad's charge to guard Emmet's little heart until he has the understanding to guard it himself. You are both doing a great job! I am so proud of you and what a good Mom you are!
