Pumpkin carving with Daddy
Thing 1, Lalaloopsy, Thing 2
in different versions of "cheese"
Dodi and Thing 1
Zuzu and the babes
We decided to go for it and spray the boys' hair blue!
Things 1 and 2! Cutest boys ever!!
Off to trick-or-treat with our crew:
Three kiddos, the parents, Zuzu, Dodi, Allison and Amy!
Emmet wanted to stop after each house and eat the candy.
"Open dis, pweese, Mama"
Getting the hang of the trick-or-treating
Sitting down to gnaw on some candy through the wrappers - silly boys
Exciting moment of the night - a police man stopped and talked to the boys and showed them his lights and siren.
They were mesmerized...
A lollipop and a glow stick (light saber to E) and he's a happy boy.
We then returned to the Garritys' house for a yummy dinner a la Chef Justin!

The Roomba Love continues. Yesterday, Emmet spent the entire morning looking for the Roomba. At one point he asked, "Mama, show you som-ping?" took my hand and brought me into the office. Then he said, "Hold you" so I picked him up. Then I realized the whole thing was a scheme so he'd be able to look on top of a cabinet for the Roomba. By nap time he had figured that it must be behind one of the two locked closets in our house (it was) and begged me to unlock them. So after nap the Roomba magically appeared downstairs and he has played with it every moment since. I'm going to try giving him full Roomba access and see how long the obsession continues!
He was docking it over and over again last night and every time he did this excited little dance, which I found hilarious!!

It's a girl!!
We are over the moon to add a sweet baby girl to our family!
Here she is!
We got to see a lot of action on the sonogram: moving, kicking, waving, yawning (some of which is in the video below!) It confirmed that the squirming I have been feeling for a week or two is all baby - she is a busy girl in there!
And Dada made a video of part of the sonogram.
Finding out today was extra special because Chad and I met 5 years ago today. We are feeling blessed and thankful to have each other, Emmet and now a baby girl!

We spent the weekend in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan with some family to celebrate Uncle Richard's 70th Birthday! We had lovely weather and loved getting to spend time with people I love but don't get to see often. I don't think I've been to Michigan since age 17.
Emmet and his second cousins, Jake (5) and Luke (2)
You're not really cousins until you've taken a bath together!
Emmet loved the train! A real life steamy!
The boys learning about old fashioned sawmills, they were riveted :)
Trains, trains and more trains!
Feeding Bob-O carrots and a dumptruck at lunch
With Bob-O and Dodi
Riding a train with Bob-O
Greenfield Village was really neat and full of sites like this:
Chad in the Wright Brother's home (moved from Ohio by Henry Ford)
Model T's driving all around!
I turned my own brass candlestick!
Family Photo! (minus Christopher)
Playing in the backyard
Jake and Luke taught Emmet how to climb the rockwall
Climbing haystacks at the Cider Mill
Uncle Richard is so funny!
Jake was the Goat-Whisperer
The Barneses by a barn
It was such a wonderful weekend! Many thanks to our hosts - Sara and Joe and Uncle Richard and Aunt Cheryl. And so glad that Paka came out for a day!
