Lil' Fishy!

Emmet has really taken to swimming in the past week or two! It has been fun to watch him learn new skills and to get braver with trying new things!

"Yook, Mama - floating away!"

Getting ready to put his face under! He's good about holding his breath, but it is still a little scary to him.

This face... silly boy

Swimming with Alli

Dada is teaching him survival skills, like how to hold on the side all by himself!

But there's plenty of fun too!

Big smile for Dodi!

Motor boat, motor boat, go so fast!
Motor boat, motor boat, step on the gas!

Practicing kicking with Alli

Swim, swim big boy!!

Breckenridge!

We got to spend a lovely week in Breckenridge, Colorado with Zuzu, the Garritys, Alex, Tracey and Aunt Amy at the beginning of July! The weather and scenery were amazing, we had fun activities and got to spend a lot of time hanging out!

Emmet is in to Dora right now, so I made him a Map of our adventure to get to the Mountain House!

The view from our balcony of the double rainbow we saw on the first evening!

The kiddos loved the gondola ride!

We found a little snow at Peak 8

Playing by the river that goes through town

Our attempts at a family picture...

The Garritys were more successful :)

We went horseback riding...

Threw rocks at the pond out back...

and went to a park.

And hung out a the super cool house, that was complete with a wine cellar, gameroom, steam room, hot tub, movie theatre, and more!

Emmet in the wine cellar

Oh, ya know - just watching a movie

Seriously, everywhere you looked was just natural and majestic beauty!

We called the boys Thing 1 and Thing 2 all week... they had so much fun playing together all week!

There were LOTS of hugs :)

Excited about cupcakes... yum!

Justin treated us all to a delicious and fun dinner out!

July 4th we went down to Main Street for a parade!

Snack break with Zuzu!

Emmet showing some love for Tracey, of course!

That afternoon we drove up to Boreas Pass.

Emmet borrowed Uncle Alex's hat

Seriously, how cute are these boys...

We tried to hike to the top, but the weather was a little scary. Chad is the only one who made it. He is the black speck in this picture, ha!

The view on the way down.

Trying on Uncle Alex's sunglasses on the drive back!

The last day we went fly fishing!

The only "group" shot we got as we were eating dinner the last night!

It was such a fun and relaxing week in a beautiful place with wonderful people... what more could you ask for?
