Emmet has been really attached to me lately, and I LOVE IT!!! It is probably because I am home with him two days during the week now, which has been so fun!
The first year of Motherhood is hard... sleepless nights, feeling unsure of yourself, trying to get your body back, reconciling expectations and reality (read this)... I know none of this is news. It was harder than I thought it would be (even with all those people telling me about it!), but I feel like I am now finding my mother-ness. I feel capable of being this little boy's Mama and am starting to feel more comfortable in it all. Of course, the terrible twos are just around the corner, so this may just be the calm before the storm - but I am going to soak it up while I can!
My absolute favorite Motherhood experience so far has been him running down the hall to find me yelling, "Mama, Mama!" in his sweet little voice. It melts me.
Watching the "dee tra", mailmen, school buses and big kids walking home from school in the front yard.

My little strawberry eater! I craved strawberries all through my pregnancy, so I have just been waiting for him to love them too!
